How to Survive in a Pvp World
I this guide , I want to help all of you guys who have never played on a pvp server. The first couple of days are really hard with all the people who attack you. It's hard to get started and build your base. That's where I come in. In this guide, you will learn how to survive your first couple of minecraft nights on a pvp server.
Day 1
So you just log into a new pvp world with no items(some servers may give you a couple of basic tools) . Before anything, check the time of day. If it's late or dark then wait until the morning to begin unless you wanna get killed by someone else.
-Your first thing to do is collect about 10 wood. This is going to be enough to help establish yourself.
Create: workbench, wooden pick, extra sticks, save the rest of the wood.
If you have more time, collect more resources.
The next thing you want to do is get away from the spawn. All the players are going to be around there at night looking for people to kill. You don't have to go too far though. Once a suitable distance from the spawn, dig a hole just big enough for you to and maybe a workbench to fit 1-2 blocks below the surface.
Pro Tip: holding shift down keeps your name from appearing making it difficult for players to find you.
If you didn't find coal on the way then make a furnace and cook a piece of your wood to make charcoal. While waiting for the next day, mine some stone and start making some stone tools.
Day 2
You now should have cobblestone, stone tools, and some wood. If you don't think you are out of range of the players that roam around the spawn, then keep moving away. Once you feel safe about where you are check out the terrain. On a flat land, it's going to be kinda hard to conceal a base of operations although you can always just dig down. * Depending on the situation, it might be a good idea for you to build an abandoned looking base above your underground base so players just pass it by * If you have heavy foliage or a mountain then you are set. Dig yourself a nice place to start and become your base of operations. The more concealed you make it the better.
It's time to create a farm. Your hunger bar by now is probably almost gone so if you have to, go kill some pigs or cows. If you haven't got seeds yet then go now. Just a small bit of space is needed lit by a torch and you should get enough food to survive.
Day 3
You should be at this point ready to begin killing other players. Leave your stuff at the base, preferably in a hidden chest, and get out there!
